Classic Shrimp Pasta with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:

Shrimp and Burst Cherry Tomato Pasta

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 lb pasta of your choice
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 onion, diced
1 can of diced tomatoes
1/2 cup tomato sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil, chopped

Instructions:

Cook pasta according to package instructions.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add garlic and onion, sauté until fragrant.
Add shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through.
Add diced tomatoes and tomato sauce, simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Toss cooked pasta with the shrimp tomato sauce.
Serve hot garnished with fresh basil.

Spicy Shrimp Arrabbiata Pasta

Ingredients:

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 lb penne pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 onion, diced
1 can of crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 tsp red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions:

Cook pasta according to package instructions.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add garlic and onion, sauté until fragrant.
Add shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through.
Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and red pepper flakes.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Toss cooked pasta with the spicy shrimp tomato sauce.
Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
